Our
newcomers have lots of questions.
Here's a few of the most
often asked questions.
Anybody!
Gallery
Auctions caters to the trade (dealers, decorators) but the public is welcome
to pick up a bidder's paddle.
Is this a "real" auction?
-
You
bet! Our auctions are fun "in-the-trenches" auctions.
-
"We
sell hard and fast," says owner/auctioneer Vikki vines.
-
"Everything
has got to go that day, to make room for the next container load."
-
There
are great bargains at every auction.
How
often do you have auctions?
-
Every
Monday it's casual English antiques and bric-a-brac. Viewing starts
at 8 a.m., the gavel falls at 9:00 a.m. and continues until it all
goes.
-
Every
Tuesday evening it's carriage trade, very fine furniture with English,
French, Italian, East Coast American and Buenos Aires' sophisticated antique
furniture and furnishings. Viewing is from 8 a.m. until the 6:30 auction,
until it all goes.
How big are your
auctions?
- Every month at least
fourteen 45' containers from all over the globe containing antiques, accents
and accessories are unloaded, assembled and sold as fast as the Gallery
Auction Gang can make it happen.
- Dealers come from
many states to buy the variety and volume of goods sold at Gallery Auctions.
The 3-acre fenced facility offers secure space for dealers trucks and trailers.
